Arturo de la Torre, Arturo Lamadrid and Israel Ulloa, share and combine their music formula under one name: The San Juan Project. This group adds a new way of perceiving and creating music with an eclectic approach. Their musical concept has won over the local showbiz scene of Guadalajara, and is sweeping through the nation. The San Juan Project Quartet originated back in 2008 in Guadalajara, Mexico. three different ways of perceiving music, and three individual expressions mingling together without any preconceived intent, other than to enjoy the freedom that music and art allow.
The result: an eclectic musical style with cosmopolitan winds playing at the rhythm of jazz fusion, electronic, and alternative accents splashed with the urban irreverence of hip-hop. The San Juan Project poses to reach out even further. Its mind absorbing notes reveal certain strokes of European influence, yet retaining the taste and flavor of its vanguard Latin origin. The notes of tragic jazz freely flowing with improvisation and the accompaniment of eclectic fusion beats and electronic sum it all up.
