In 2006 guitar virtuosos Byron Mikaloff and Christian Roberge met jazz bassist Alex Morissette at the Quebec Conservatory of Music.
In 2008 the trio combined great musicianship with a sense of humor, and united their unique voices to create an ingenious tribute to the 80’s and Reinhardt, with the album “Lost In The 80’s”.
The album was an instant success. More than 200,000 copies sold in less than a year and live shows were in demand along with their trademark colourful suits. The Montreal International Jazz Festival did not hesitate and selected the group as their closing performers, and the Calgary Stampede and Vancouver Winter Olympics look forward to hosting The Lost Fingers in the coming months.
The Lost Fingers’ shows have become a must see attraction across the world; their irresistible sound and style crosses borders. “Lost In The
80’s” has seen success in Mexico and Europe, allowing the group to play major international markets and for tens of thousands of fans to witness their lightning fast ascension.
In June 2009, Byron, Alex, and Christian released their second album: “Rendez-Vous Rose”
Enjoy, and stay Swing!!!!
